Bella C. Mooney
4/2/1920 - 2/8/2010





LANCASTER, NH- Bella Couturier Mooney, 88, died Monday morning February 8, 2010, at the Morrison Nursing Home in Whitefield, were she had been a resident since May of 2009.


 


Mrs. Mooney was born in West Stewartstown on April 2, 1920, a daughter of Archie and Rosa (Dube) Couturier.


 


Bella lived in Dalton for many years until moving to Lancaster with her family. She enjoyed the outdoors, family and nature.


 


For many years she was a member of the Eastern Stars.


 


Family members include two sons Russell Mooney of Lancaster and Edward Mooney, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and four siblings, Archie Couturier of Whitefield, Eddy Couturier of Waterbury, VT, Archilline Herbert of Littleton and Albina Ingerson of Whitefield. Her husband Edward Smith Mooney and 7 siblings predeceased her.


 


All who were blessed to know her will miss her.


 


There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring in the Cushman Cemetery in Dalton.
