William W. Crossett Jr.

LANCASTER, NH- William W. Crossett Jr., 69, of North Road, died at his home early Thursday morning, February 18, 2010



Mr. Crossett was born in Barnstead, NH on June 11, 1940, a son of William W. and Arlene (Boyde) Crossett Sr.



William worked in construction all of his life. He was the superintendent of many projects, including Settlers Green in North Conway, Hooksett Toll Booth, Laconia Savings Bank in Gorham, strip malls, schools and Rite aids.



Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and helping out his family, friends and neighbors. He especially enjoyed his trips to the casinos.



He served in the US Army and was a member of the VFW.



Family members include his wife Carol (Riley) Crossett of Lancaster, his children, Tracy Palmer and her husband Steve of Keene, Scott Therrien and his wife Cindy of Pittsburg, Terrina Soares and her husband (Kenneth) of N. Conway and Barbara Hadeacek and her husband of Lakeville, MN, a brother Thomas Crossett and his wife Maureen of Bellows Falls, VT, a sister Kathy Harriman of Gilford, NH and 5 grandchildren.



Visiting hours will be held Sunday afternoon February 21, from 2-4 PM, at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A funeral service will be held Monday morning at 11:00 AM at the Lancaster Congregational Church of Christ. Reverend Virginia Alvarez, pastor, will officiate. Burial with military honors will be held in the spring in the Colebrook Village Cemetery.



Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in his memory to American Heart Assn., New England Affiliate, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
