To the family,
So sorry to hear Uncle Phil lost his battle. He sure has had a long time with sickness. Now no more pain and suffering, and just wilting away there at the nursing home. He hated every minute he was there. But our choices are few when we are sick like that. I know they did well by him and all that too. But he was not happy being there. Now he will be comfortable, and we will see him again, and there will be no more sickness then. Now all we all have to do is make sure we are there to welcome him back. You are all in our prayers and thoughts at this very said time. Wish I was home to be with you all. All our love MIcky and Judy

To all Uncle Phil's family members, We are so sorry to learn of his death. We will miss him very much, and will always remember the good times. Like the time he rode down to NC with us, and his time at the farm. There is a truck called Phil's truck, the one he drove so often. The guys in the shop will miss his visits. We are very sorry we won't be here to be with you in person during this difficult time, but please know we will be thinking of you. Sincerely, Allan and Tammy

Uncle Phil's Family,
Uncle Phil (what I called him) was one of those people who touched your heart in a special way. He was a great man and will be missed. "What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch; we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget".
