JEFFERSON, NH- Maureen Samson, 47, died Friday May 14, 2010, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon.


 


Maureen was born on October 6, 1962, in Red Bank, New Jersey, a daughter of James and Marcella (Charles) Coughlin.


 


She was raised in Keyport, New Jersey, and moved to the North Country in 1977. She became a para-educator do to her devotion and love for children. She worked at the Lancaster Elementary School and was also employed at the North End Market.


 


She was a devote Beatles Fan and she may have moved away from New Jersey but there was a part of her that was always a Jersey Girl.


 


Family members include her parents James and Marcella of Bradenton, FL, two sons James Samson and Thomas Samson of Lancaster, the love of her life Ben Fontaine of Jefferson, a brother Christopher Coughlin of New Jersey and a sister Katherine Coughlin of New Jersey, her special nephew Christopher Coughlin Jr. and many other nieces and nephews.


 


Visiting hours will be held Tuesday May 18, from 6-8 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. David Stone will officiate. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.

Tom and Jimmy We can't imagine how sad and lost you must feel with out your mom.There is no easy way to say goodbye but remember this is only temporary you will see her again. Fred and I will miss Mo's smiling eyes and huge heart! I feel that Mo wrote the song "My Wish" as that is how she lived her short life. Benny-You are blessed to have her, even for such a short time.
