GILMAN, VT- Patricia Anne Sullivan, 82, died unexpectedly late Friday evening May 22, 2009 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH.
Mrs. Sullivan was born in Gilman, Vermont on March 16, 1927 a daughter of Walter and Helen (O'Malley) Boyle.
Patty was a lifetime resident of Gilman. In her early years she worked at the Gilman Post Office. She then became a devoted wife and mother. She loved family functions that included music and dancing. One of her favorite things to do was to bake pastries and pies. She was an exceptionally good cook and loved to prepare big meals. She also crocheted, knitted baby clothes and liked to travel.
Family members include her husband of sixty years William T. Sullivan Jr. of Gilman, a son William P. "Sully" Sullivan and his wife Elizabeth Ann of N. Hampton, NH, a daughter Gayle MacDonald and her husband Steve of N. Danville, VT, a daughter in-law Jo-Ann Sullivan of Waterford, VT, four grandchildren, Tammy Cady and her husband Dave of Lyndonville, VT, Troy Sullivan of Pennsylvania, Robert Briggs of Danville, VT and Kimberly Ageri and her husband John of Waldon, VT, six great grandchildren, Kalob Ageri, Gracie Ageri, Jake Cady, Jordon Cady, Brody Sullivan and Sierra Sullivan, a brother Walter "Buzzy" Boyle of Enfield, CT, two sisters Margaret Tardy of Enfield, CT and Helena "Tootie" Boyle of Gilman and many dear nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by, a son Timothy William Sullivan in December 2008, a brother Danny Boyle and two sisters Eugena Boyle and Rita Frechette.
At Patricia's request there are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Thursday morning May 28 at 11:00 AM in the Riverside Cemetery, Lunenburg. Father Raymond Ball, pastor, at All Saint's Church, will officiate.
