HANOVER - Roxanna M. White, 63, formerly of Lancaster, died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Hanover Terrace Healthcare.
Mrs. White was born in Lancaster on April 30, 1947, the daughter of Maynard "Mink" and Jeanette (Fournier) Lewis.
Roxanna was raised in Lunenburg and was a graduate of Lancaster High School. She earned a degree in nursing and worked many years at Weeks Medical Center. During that time she returned to college to become a registered nurse. For a time she was also employed with Weeks Home Health. She enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
Family members include her husband Durwood White of Avoca, NY; a son Steven Bennett of Canterbury; a daughter Jennifer Beach of Dover; a stepson Michael White; and two granddaughters, Madeline and Jeanette. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister Arlene Lewis.
There are no visiting hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Lunenburg.
