LANCASTER- Stephanie Falkenstrom, 88, died Thursday, January 5, 2006, at Country Village Health Care Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Falkenstrom was born in Fairfield, Connecticut on June 30, 1917, the daughter of John and Louise (Kieler) Neidzwiedz.
Stephanie lived in Fairfield most of her life, where she worked as a seamstress for Robert Hall. She moved to Groveton on September 30, 1973, where she resided for 13 years before moving to Dalton with her son Chuck, until a year ago she was a resident of the McKee Inn, Lancaster.
She was an avid seamstress, also loved to crochet, read, and work in her garden.
Family members include a son Charles Falkenstrom Jr. of Dalton, a daughter Mary Lou Bodnar and her husband Joseph of Northumberland; four grandchildren, Erica Witcher of Meredith, Colleen De Moras of Kentuckey, Joseph Bodnar Jr.of Loudon, and Darrell Bodnar of Groveton, three great- grand children, Noah, Jacob, and Joshua. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Falkenstrom in 1985.
There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be Tuesday morning January 10, at 11:00 AM, at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. Rev. Raymond Ball, pastor of All Saints Church, Lancaster, will officiate. Burial will be in the spring in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Whitefield.
