Craig Boire

April 15, 1977 — April 25, 2022

Craig Boire, 45, of Colebrook, NH passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 25, 2022. Craig, known by many as "Craigga", "Big Tymer", "Boss", or "Coach", was truly one of the best and taken from his friends and family far too soon. He was known for his larger-than-life personality and contagious big smile. He was a very compassionate, kind, loving, caring, and selfless man who gave his time and energy to all those around him. He spent countless hours of time with the community and the local youth through athletics. Kids gravitated toward him and looked up to him as a role model. After many years coaching Bambino and Babe Ruth baseball, he coached basketball and soccer for Colebrook Junior High and Colebrook Academy.

Craig was a consummate family man. His children, Molly and Marik, meant the world to him. If you had the chance to watch the three of them play video games, you would have seen firsthand the bond they had. They would have each other in stitches. We are fortunate his kids will carry on his beautiful smile. He was the best father, son, brother, fiancé, cousin, friend, teammate, and neighbor anyone could ask for. He and Tabitha had so many things they were looking forward to - marriage, traveling, concerts, and time spent together with their families all were in their future plans. The love they shared was radiant.

He was a proud and extremely hardworking man who established and grew his well-respected Boire Property Maintenance business over the past 15 years. He loved spending his days working alongside his son and father, his much-loved dogs Trapper and Mookie, and the many employees he had through the years. Community members will miss seeing him in his "Mr. Mow It All" t-shirt and bright red Boire Property Maintenance sweatshirts, driving through town with his arm out the window.

Craig was a very active person who enjoyed golf, basketball, skiing, coaching, playing in softball tournaments, and much more. Throughout his youth, he was a nationally-ranked NASTAR ski champion. He was a three-sport athlete at Colebrook Academy and went on to play basketball at New Hampshire Technical Institute. Among his most cherished sports memories were the two games he played against his brother, Lance, in college. He loved sports immensely, including the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, University of Kentucky Wildcats Men's Basketball, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Shaquille O'Neil and the late Kobe Bryant had a lot to do with his love of the Lakers, which of course rubbed off onto Marik!

Craig is survived by his daughter Molly, son Marik, parents Germain and Gaetane Boire, brother and sister-in-law Lance and Melissa Boire, a half-brother he was looking forward to meeting in person, Andreas Hollmer, fiancé Tabitha Paquette, Tabitha's children Lukas Simpson, Jodie, and their son Dean, Christian Simpson & Cassie, Gavin Simpson and Cassandra. He will be missed by several very special children in his life, Lexi (Lawson) and Sedrick McKinnon, their daughter Myla, Brooke Lawson, Cali (Lawson) and Malik McKinnon, and Brandon Marsh. In addition, he leaves numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and, of course, his beloved dogs Trapper and Mookie.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Craig Boire Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of Alicia Boire, 17 Boire Drive, Colebrook, New Hampshire 03576.

A public graveside service will be held at St. Brendan's Cemetery in Colebrook, NH on May 21, 2022 at 11:00AM. This will be followed by a celebration of life, with more details to be shared soon.
