GRANBY - Shirley Brown, 67, died Friday, May 13, 2011, at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, St. Johnsbury, VT.
Mrs. Brown was born in West Stewartstown on June 13, 1943, the daughter of Clark and Dora (McKee) Nason.
Shirley was raised in Colebrook and graduated from Colebrook Academy. She married Glen E. Brown of Granby and lived there the duration of her life. In her spare time she enjoyed making puzzles and raising her pet birds.
Family members include five children, Tami May Edwards, of Wichita Falls, Texas, Edwin Brown of Granby, Thomas Brown of East Concord, Diana Brown and Peter Brown both of Brattleboro; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Mary Ellen Uran of Beecher Falls and Linda Hunter of Springfield, VT. Glen predeceased her in 1996.
There are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held Thursday afternoon, May 19, at 1:00 PM, in the Appleton Cemetery, Granby. Rev. Todd Goulet of Northumberland will officiate.
