GROVETON - Dewayne Goulet, 52, formerly of Groveton passed away Wednesday August 8, 2018 after months of hospitalization due to complications from surgery.
Dewayne left Groveton in his early 20's and lived for a time in Columbia NH before moving to the Loudon NH area where he spent the remainder of his life up to the time he was hospitalized this past March.
Dewayne lived his life enjoying trout and deep sea fishing, watching NASCAR racing and attending a race down in Daytona Florida. His favorite driver was Jimmie Johnson. He liked to socialize and enjoyed country music. He attended many concerts at Meadowbrook Pavilion listening to some of his favorite country singers. His favorite country song was "I love a rainy night". This song got him through many trials and tribulations throughout his life. He would smile just saying the name of the song.
Dewayne also enjoyed taking pictures, watching old movies and he was an extreme Three Stooges fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Goulet. He is survived by his mother, June Goulet, his siblings Tammy McLain, Dawn (Randy) Pelletier, Darcie (Frank) Concemi, Angela Goulet, Andrew (Jen) Goulet, Samantha (Marcus Colby) Goulet, Tricia (Bob) McCormick, Pete Gilcris (Terry) and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews & Cousins too many to mention by name. He also leaves behind his special friends and caregivers; Pam, Carla, Melinda, Melissa and Darlene as well as his buddies Robert and Darren.
His family extends a special thank you to the Community Bridges Program and their staff who worked with DeWayne.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 1:00 at the Emerson Road Cemetery. Reverend Patricia V. Williams, pastor of the United Methodist Ministry of Groveton, Stark, and Stratford, will officiate.
