
LANCASTER – James P. Caterino, 55, died of a sudden illness Friday morning, October 26, 2018, at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester.
Mr. Caterino was born in the Bronx, New York, on April 14, 1963, the son of Giro J. and Theresa (Faicchia) Caterino. He lived in Dumont, NJ for more than 45 years and has resided in Lancaster, NH since 2011.
Was a high school football and baseball coach in NJ and spent two decades coaching Little League, Babe Ruth, and semi-pro baseball in NJ. He was an all-Bergen County baseball player and won many individual awards for the sport.
He worked for the Bergen Record and Tiffany’s for many years and most recently SAU 58 as a Para educator and coach to hundreds of children in the surrounding area.
He was a committed follower of Jesus and showed the love of Christ to everyone he met. He served faithfully at Christ United Methodist Church in Lancaster for the past 7 years.
Jim was the beloved husband of Kelly (Farnham) Caterino and exceptionally proud father of Kenneth. Oldest beloved son of Rev. Jerry & Terry Caterino – Older loving brother of Robert and Anthony and dear brother-in-law of Michele (Anthony’s wife). Beloved brother in law to Bevan Farnham, Heather (Adams) Brown and Hillary (Adams) Morris
and terrific uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Saturday, November 3rd, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster. A Memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon, November 4th, at 2:00 PM at the Christ United Methodist Church in Lancaster. Reverend Richard Boyden, pastor, will officiate.
