JEFFERSON- Albert L. Giguere, 66, of Horan Road, died Thursday morning October 19, 2006 at Weeks Medical Center, after a long illness.
Mr. Giguere was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on May 30, 1940 the son of Leo and Prudence (Laime) Giguere.
Albert was raised in Woonsocket and resided there until 1975 when he moved to Attleboro, MA where owned and operated an auto body shop. Since 1989 he has been a resident of Jefferson and was employed at Littleton Chevrolet until his retirement.
He enjoyed making puzzles, loved to snowmobile and was a member of Waumbek Methna Snowmobile Club.
Family members include his wife Vivian (Charrette) Giguere of Jefferson; a son Raymond Giguere of Attleboro, MA; two daughters Christine Therrian of New Portland, ME, Deborah Thorpe of Manchester, NH; and six grandchildren.
There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon, October 21, at 3:30 PM at Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. Reverend Raymond Ball, pastor of All Saints Church will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Leukemia Society, 495 Old Connecticut Path, Suite 220, Framingham, MA 01701 or honor his memory by donating blood at your local Red Cross Blood Drive.
