LANCASTER - Alice L. Sterling, 91, formerly of Whitefield and Littleton, died September 1, 2010, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Alice was born in Chichester, NH, on February 8, 1919, the daughter of Daniel and Bessie (Ingerson) Reed.
At ten years of age she moved with her family to Lancaster where they resided for many years. In 1965 she moved to Littleton where she resided for 37 years until moving to McIntyer School Apartments. She worked various jobs during her lifetime include waitress and caregiver work and she enjoyed spending time in Florida.
She is survived by a sister Katie Maker of Lancaster and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother George Reed and a sister Florence Dresser.
