WHITEFIELD - Althea Anne Sarnacki (Goad), 60, of Liberty Drive, died suddenly Sunday April 20, 2008 at her home.
Althea was born in Whitefield on December 12, 1947, the daughter of Clayton and Anne (Bristol) Goad.
She was a longtime resident of the North Country living for a short time in Springfield, MA. She graduated from high school in Springfield and later acquired a degree from the NH Community Technical College, Berlin. For 20 years she was employed as a medical records coder at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster. Althea loved to collect cribbage boards and playing cards, she also enjoyed bluegrass music, playing her guitar and organ, and she loved her cats.
Family members include three children Kyle Sarnacki of Whitefield, Kara Webster of Bath, Jeremy Pinette of Whitefield; two grandchildren Brett LaPan and Dagan Webster; one brother Stephen Goad of Springfield, MA; two sisters, Sandra Shannon of Guildhall, Donna Duplisea of Chicopee, MA; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband James Pinette.
Visiting hours will be held Friday evening April 25, from 5-8 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 AM at the Guildhall Community Church. Rev. Gerry Piper of Danville will officiate. Burial will follow in the Northumberland Cemetery.
