GROVETON- Andrew Marshall, 64, died at his home on, Monday evening, July 13, 2009.

Mr. Marshall was born in Lancaster on August 15, 1944, a son of Harold and Evelyn (Applebee) Marshall Sr.

Andy was a lifelong resident of Groveton, graduating from Groveton High School. He worked for many years on his family farm, the Marshall Dairy Farm. He also drove truck for various companies in the North Country, including Currier Trucking and Wausau Carriers. Before retiring he worked for the Postal Service as a mail carrier.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle.

He was a member of the North Star

Lodge No 8.Free & Accepted Masons, Lancaster.

Family members include his wife Linda (Breault) Marshall, two daughters, Christine Hersom and her husband Nate of Sanbornton and Kimberly Marshall of Tilton, a son Michael Woodward and his wife Mary of Groveton, a brother Harold "Pete" Marshall Jr. and his wife Nancy of Groveton, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. His parents, his brother James Marshall, two sisters, Patricia Ann Marshall and Janice Gagnon, predeceased him.

Memorial visiting hours will be held, on Sunday evening July 19, from 6-8 PM a Masonic Service will be held at 7PM during visiting hours at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A graveside service will be held Monday morning at 11:00 AM in the Ridgwell Cemetery in Guildhall, VT. Father Raymond Ball, pastor, at the All Saints Church will officiate.
