MAIDSTONE, VT - Anne Hayden Barton, 78, passed away at her home on April 30, 2022 after a long period of failing health.
Anne was born on Richmond, Virginia on Valentines Day in 1944. Her parents were William I. and Anne (Blunt) Ivey. For many years she resided in Connecticut during which time she attended college and acquired a bachelor's degree in psychotherapy. She worked many years after as a self-employed psychotherapist until retiring and moving to Vermont.
In her spare time, and while retired, she loved to garden and plant roses. Anne was also artistic and enjoyed drawing and painting.
Surviving family members include a daughter, Diana Ragland; two sons, Dean Ragland, Jason Signore; and three grandchildren, Isabell Jackman, Jordan Casey, and Harper Ferkel.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
