LANCASTER - Arnold James "Jim" Flynn, 73, passed away at
Littleton Regional
Hospital
on

26, 2015
at the age of
73 with his wife and daughter present.
Jim
was born in
Lancaster on June 24, 1942.
He
graduated from
Lancaster High School
and went on to earn a
Barber's Certification
in
1962.
Jim worked
at Brown Street Furniture and had a Barber Shop in Lancaster for 52 years. He is a member of the Lancaster Methodist Church.
Jim
enjoyed
fishing,
baseball, music and playing with his beloved cat Tigger.
Jim
is predeceased by his father, Daniel Flynn, Mother, Evelyn Stillings and Sister Gloria Sullivan
Jim
is survived by
his
loving
wife of
34
years, Beatrice Stevens. They were married in
Lancaster
on
May 23, 1981. He
is also survived by his daughters, Penny Rivera and Melody Gordner Jr. of Denvers, PA., stepchildren: Bruce Rolfe of Island Pond, VT, Barry Rolfe of New Hampton, NH, Cynthia Foltz of Suitland, MD, Dale Rolfe of Burke, VA and Debra Rolfe of Middletown, CT. Jim is lovingly remembered by his nephew Fredrick Sullivan and niece Pamela Sullivan Frizzell of Lancaster NH, as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephew and cousins.
At Jim's request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on October 3
rd
, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Summer Street Cemetery in Lancaster. Reverend Richard Boyden, pastor of the Christ United Methodist Church, Lancaster, will officiate.
