Arthur Dennis Harriman

WHITEFIED – Arthur Dennis Harriman, 71, of Pleasant Street, died Thursday afternoon, October 12, 2023, at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester.
Dennis was born in Littleton, NH, on May 15, 1952, the son of William and Katherine Dorothy Mountain Harriman. Dennis loved being outdoors and outdoor activities like biking, hiking, camping, and riding his motorcycle. He also loved good music; the Beatles were one of his favorites. Playing his guitar and taking Sunday rides to Franconia for spring water brought him great enjoyment.
Dennis had a great work ethic that he passed on to his girls. He worked for Lotta Rock Dairy, Hitchners Manufacturing, Walmart, and the Mt. Washington Hotel to name a few.
Surviving family members include his wife of 45 years, Lillian Harriman; his daughters Cat Harriman, Christina Crowell and her husband Jamie Crowell; grandchildren Leigha Harriman, Jade Whitcomb, and Sean Donovan; a great grandson Cole Vigil; a sister Lois Bigelow; and many nieces, nephews, and “adopted” family that he loved dearly. He was proceeded in death by his mother Katherine Harriman; a sister Dorothy Wheatley; and his beloved father-in-law Robert Bigelow.
The family would like to thank CMC for the care they gave to Dennis, and a very special thank you to Lois for being an amazing sister and aunt and helping us in our time of need.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Thursday evening, October 19th, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster.
