JEFFERSON, NH- Barbara A. Clukay, 75, of Kilkenny View Drive, died Sunday morning November 8, 2009, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Clukay was born in Whitefield, NH on July 6, 1934, a daughter of Fred and Thelma (Congdon) Page.
Barbara was raised in Whitefield and graduated from Whitefield High School in 1953. For 30 years she and her husband owned and operated the Water Wheel Sugar House. She enjoyed cooking, had a great sense of humor and loved her children, grandchildren and anyone else she could mother.
She was a past member of the Rebecca's.
Family Members include her husband of 56 years Theodore P. Clukay of Jefferson, three sons, Theodore Clukay Jr. of Manchester, Craig Clukay and his wife Cindy of Jefferson and Bruce Clukay and his wife Leslie of Florida, two brothers Fred Page and his wife Sandra of Littleton and William Page and his wife Gayle of Stowe, MA, two sisters Sandra Ramsdell and her husband Carl of Maidstone, VT and Linda Messier and her husband Paul of Manchester, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday November 10, from 4-6 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM at the Christ United Methodist Church in Lancaster. Reverend Ron Bruce, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Jefferson.
In lieu of flowers donations maybe made in her name to the Weeks Medical Center Oncology Dept. 170 Middle Street, Lancaster, NH 03584.
