Barbara J. Kingsley

LANCASTER- Barbara J. Kingsley, 82, of Portland Street, passed away Saturday evening August 28, 2010, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Kingsley was born in Proctor, Vermont on March 2, 1928, a daughter of Julius E. and Mary Eleanor Pelkey.
Barbara graduated from Lancaster Academy in 1945 and married Ralph W. Kingsley on August 14, 1946. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, taught Catechism and was a Girl Scout Leader, as well as a loving wife and mother.
Family members include her husband of 64 years Ralph of Lancaster, two daughters, Anne M. Kingsley-Powell and her husband Bill of Portsmouth and Mary Beth Begin of Lancaster, a son Brian J. Kingsley of Groveton, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Karl and Lisa Martin and their children Danielle, Haley and Brooke; Paul and Shannon Martin and their children Madison and Jesse; Kristy Begin and her children Chase and Alexy; Jenny and Lolay Catudal and their children Damon and Joccelyn; Brent, Tristan and Kirsten Kingsley, her sister Marie Dubreuil and her husband Bob of Manchester and a sister in-law Maureen Pelkey of Braintree, MA., several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by, two brothers James Pelkey and J. Eugene Pelkey, a grandson Michael Martin and 4 great grandchildren Darren, Belle, Keysha and Matthew.
Calling hours are private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning September 1

, at 11:00 AM, at All Saints Church, Lancaster. Reverend Daniel Deveau, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Voigt and Dr. Gauthier of Weeks Medical Center for giving them and Barbara more time together.
