Lancaster- Betty Wright, 68, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on December 23, 2012 at Country Village Genesis Eldercare after a short illness. She was born on May 15, 1944 in Whitefield, NH, a daughter to Charles Nelson and Virginia Irene (Pervere) Potter.
Betty was raised in Maidstone and was a housekeeper at the Cabot Motor Inn. She enjoyed walking and visiting with friends. Betty loved her cat, John Wayne and Westerns.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Robert Potter. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Kenneth Wright of Lancaster, three sons Donald Wright of Colebrook, John Wright of Columbia, SC, Robert Wright of Elgin, SC, A brother Donald Potter of Colebrook, four sisters Nancy Hughes of Colebrook, Sally Flanders of North Stratford, Elsie Lafoe of North Stratford, Mary Wheeler of Bloomfield and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Lancaster Community Cupboard 16 Church Street Lancaster, NH 03584 or Lancaster Humane Society, 564 Martin Meadow Pond Road, Lancaster, NH 03584.
