LUNENBURG - Beverly Perkins Balch, 83, of Baptist Hill Road, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Weeks Medical Center Lancaster.
Beverly was born in Lunenburg on November 26, 1926, the daughter of Howard and Eulelia (Bryant) Perkins. She was the loving wife of Gardner H. Balch Sr. who predeceased her in 2006.
She was the loving mother of six children, Gardner H. Balch Jr. of Lunenburg, Sharon E. Thurston of Guildhall, Stephen M. Balch of Hinsdale, Howard C. Balch of Winston-Salem, NC, Lee D. Balch of Lunenburg, Dianthe G. Charron of Tampa, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Winonna Wood of Winchendon, MA. A granddaughter, Desiree Balch also predeceased her.
At Beverly's request there are no visiting hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
