GILMAN, VT - Beverly Fern Folsom Lunnie, passed away peacefully while sleeping in her home on Thursday, Jan 28

, 2016. She was eighty-nine years old.

Beverly was born September 24

th

, 1926, in East Concord, VT, to Ross Folsom and Myra "Molly" Clark Folsom. She attended school in Concord, VT and also studied business administration in Boston, MA. Upon returning to Vermont she worked for the Caledonian Record and the Gilman Mill.

She was married to Paul Lunnie in October of 1948. Together they began a family and lived throughout New England, including Concord and Londonderry NH, Cape Elizabeth, ME and West Suffield, CT. She particularly enjoyed walking on Crescent Beach in Maine.

She loved to write read and write poetry, enjoyed birdwatching and nature appreciation, flower gardening, cooking, attending church, and travelling. She was a member of the Folsom Family Association.

Beverly was pre-deceased by her husband, Paul, her sister, Helen Willey, and her daughter-in-law Laurie Lunnie.

Beverly is survived by her son David and his wife Star, of Concord VT; Her son Daniel of Lebanon, ME; her brother-in-law Richard Willey, of Barre, VT and her niece, Beth-Ann Willey of East Barre, VT; her grandchildren, Robert Lunnie of Great Falls, MT; Douglas Lunnie of Eliot, ME; Maureen Ricker of Berwick, ME; Kelly Lunnie of Lebanon, ME. She also had many great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, February 3rd from 5 to 7 PM at the Bailey Funeral home in Lancaster, NH. A funeral will be held Thursday the 4

th

at 2 PM, also at the funeral home.  Reverend Gerry Piper, Pastor of the United Methodist Church, Springfield, VT, will officiate. Beverly's burial will be held in spring, in the Concord Village cemetery.
