JEFFERSON- Brian L. Smith, 58, died July 30, 2011 at Weeks Medical Center, with his family by his side.
Mr. Smith was born in Lancaster, on October 6, 1952 a son of Ned and Phyllis (Sheridan) Smith.
Brian was a lifetime resident of Jefferson and was a graduate of White Mountain Regional High School. He served with the US Army. For a time he worked for Seawood, Lemiux Construction and most recently at Bretton Woods in the maintenance department.
He was an avid hunter and gun collector.
Family members include his wife Bonnie (Dupont) Smith of Jefferson, five children Brian James, Lee Michael, Denise, Carla and Amy, a step son David Boudle, 7 brothers, his twin Bruce Smith, Alan Smith and his wife Diane, Larry Smith and his wife Diane, Michael Smith and his wife Sue, Dick Smith and his wife Louise, David Smith and Raymond Smith, 3 sisters Roberta McGee and her husband John, Diane Dupont and her husband Bruce and Glenda Smith, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by, his parents, a brother Peter Fuller and a sister Sharon Dupont.
A memorial service will be held Thursday morning August 4 at 11:00 at the Bailey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Forest Vale Cemetery, Jefferson. Reverend Dean A. Stiles, pastor of Jefferson Christian Church, will officiate.
