JEFFERSON, NH – Bruce J. Rymszewicz, 72, of Bailey Road, died of a sudden illness at his residence Sunday morning, October 22, 2023.
Bruce was born in New Bedford, MA on November 16, 1950, the son of Stephen and Julia (Fournier) Rymszewicz. He was a longtime resident of Freetown, MA, and the surrounding area and a graduate of Apponequet Regional High School, Lakeview, MA. He acquired a certification in robotics and worked for many years in the tool and die industry for Stillwater in Freetown.
Bruce enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, telling stories, nature & wildlife, and cooking. His stories will remain in the hearts of his family and his cooking will be dearly missed, especially his kale soup, it was the best!
Surviving family members include his children, Rebecca LeBeau of Jefferson, NH, John Rymszewicz of Lakeville, MA, Heather Rymszewicz of Milan, NH, Hope Rymszewicz of Dartmouth, MA; 11 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and his siblings Deborah Medeiros of Dartmouth, Ed Rymszewicz of Greenwood, SC, Gene Rymszewicz of Dartmouth, MA, Dave Rymszewicz of New Bedford, MA, Paul Rymszewicz of Dartmouth, MA, and James Rymszewicz of New Bedford, MA. He was predeceased by his parents; a sister Susan Rymszewicz; and a brother Stephen Rymszewicz.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Saturday, November 4th from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 210 Main Street, Lancaster, NH, and a service of remembrance will be held at 12:00PM. Life Cycle celebrant, Deborah Szauter of Twin Mountain, will officiate.
