LANCASTER - Caroline E. "Carol" Huddleston, 93, passed away at her home, peacefully Sunday morning, August 2, 2020, with her family at her side. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cared for her family deeply.
She acquired a BS degree from UNH in Nutrition and worked for many years at Weeks Memorial Hospital as a Dietician - Food Supervisor. She also worked at the Coos County Nursing Hospital, West Stewartstown and the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin as a Dietician
For over 20 years she was a dedicated EMT volunteer of the Lancaster Ambulance Corp. She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lancaster and a member of the Episcopal Church Women Guild. Her ministry for many years was sending out anniversary and birthday cards to the parish family for the church.
Was a member of the Business Professional Women (BPW) and was a Hospice volunteer.
Carol enjoyed gardening and feeding her birds. Her family and friends benefited from her passion for making homemade donuts, English muffins, jams and zucchini relish.
She is survived by her daughter Ellyn; son James and his husband Michael; Eric and his wife Ann Marie and daughter Ann Blake; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren plus one on the way. She was predeceased by her husband John and son John (Jay) Huddleston
There will be a memorial service celebrating Carol's life at St. Paul's Church in Lancaster at a later date. The family will gather privately for a gravesite service at the Huddleston family plot in Durham, NH.
