LITTLETON - Cecile B. Scheftner, 75, died suddenly at her home at Lafayette Avenue Saturday October 2, 2015.
Mrs. Scheftner was born in Maine on October 9, 1939 the daughter of Victor J. and Parmelie (Cardin) Lajoie. She was raised in Maine until her sophomore year when she moved to Groveton and graduated from Groveton High School. Later she married Peter Styles and together they had three children.
For a time Cecile lived in California where she worked as an insurance claims adjuster. She returned to New Hampshire in 2014. She was an animal lover who was a diligent supporter of the ASPCA and she was quite fond of her cat Lucky who she rescued herself.
Family members include her children Brian James Styles of Lancaster, Kevin Mark Styles of Littleton, Laurie Ann Perras and her husband Claude of Lancaster; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her second husband Eugene "Mick" Scheftner.
A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon, October 10
th
at 4:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster. Life Cycle Celebrant Wendy MacDonald of Randolph will officiate.
