WHITEFIELD - Chad Kenison, 28, of Liberty Drive, died unexpectedly Tuesday July 4, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 18, 1988 in Lancaster the son of Gregory Kenison and Jodi (Smith) Rooney.
A 2007 graduate of White Mountain Regional High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army soon after graduation, and served two tours of duty in Afghanistan with the 2nd Brigade, 316 Artillery of the 4th Infantry Division. In 2015 he was medically discharged after 7 years of service, achieving the rank of Sergeant, he returned to Whitefield and was attending welding classes at Berlin Tech at the time of his death.
On February 4, 2013 he married the love of his life, Miranda Rouillard in Twin Mountain.
Besides time spent with his family, Chad enjoyed fishing, hunting go-Kart racing and snow mobiles.
Survivors include his wife Miranda, three daughters; Sophia, Cameran and Carli, a son Maddox, his parents John and Jodi Rooney of Lancaster and Gregory Kenison of Groveton, along with two sisters Chelsey Kenison and her partner, Jake Treamer of Concord and Jillian Rooney of Lancaster. Also surviving are his father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Greek and Marcia Rouillard of Twin Mountain, his sister-in-law, Megan Rouillard, a brother-in-law Michael Rouillard and his wife Mary, four nieces; Emily Rouillard, Mya Rouillard, Tennley Treamer and Adriah Treamer, a nephew Travis Rouillard and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in Lancaster at 11:00 am Monday July 10, 2017. Friends and family may call at the Bailey Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-4 pm.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kenison Family Fund, care of, Passumpsic Savings Bank, 117 Main Street Lancaster, NH to assist with family expenses.
