Charles Arthur "Squeak" Frenette

June 11, 1945 — February 9, 2012

Lancaster- Charles Arthur "Squeak" Frenette Sr. 66 passed away on Thursday February 9, 2012 at Weeks Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on June 11, 1945 in Concord, NH a son to the late Clayton Arnold Sr. and Viola (Zanes) Frenette.

Squeak started working for Timberland Machines he worked for the State of New Hampshire Department of Transportation for over 30 years, retiring in 2001. He also had his own firewood business and truck for deliveries for several years. Squeak was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to all of us. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved his time at camp in New York and Maine. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed playing cars and scratching lottery tickets. He was a member of the Moose Club and the VFW Men's Auxiliary John W. Weeks Post 3041 where he was the Chaplin. He was also a former member of the Odd Fellows and the SEA Association.

Mr. Frenette was predeceased by his parents, a brother Clayton Arnold Frenette Jr. and a sister Joan Grattage. He is survived by his wife (Lorna Nichols) Frenette who he has been married to for 46 years and was his high school sweetheart, two sons, Charles Arthur Frenette Jr., Wayne Frenette and his wife Tricia, a grandchild Camille Frenette, several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to memorial visiting hours on Saturday February 18, 2012 from 10-1 at Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster with burial to follow in Hillside Cemetery in Jefferson.

Lastly for those of you who always wondered how he got his name "Squeak" here is the mini story.... Squeak was born a 2lb. preemie and the Dr. told his mother his cry was like a squeak... thus he became known to us as Squeak- you'll b e missed!!!
