LANCASTER - Christine S. Rexford, 88, died of a sudden illness Tuesday evening, July 30, 2013 at The Morrison in Whitefield.
She was surrounded by her loving family.
Christine was born in Guildhall, VT on May 16, 1925 the daughter of Mildred V. Silver.
Raised in Lancaster she graduated from Lancaster High School and in her younger years worked as a telephone operator.
Christine was a homemaker and also a bookkeeper for multiple family businesses.
She loved to play cards and board games and enjoyed crocheting, watching the Red Sox and visiting with friends.
She was a member of the Whitefield Christian Church.
Family members include her children and their spouses, Wayne and Tina Rexford, David and Linda Rexford, Gary and Terri Rexford all of Lancaster, Susan and Mario Audit of Groveton, Randall and Patricia Rexford of Lancaster; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held Friday evening August 2, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster.
A funeral service will be held at Saturday morning at 10:00 AM at the Whitefield Christian Church.
Reverend Lou Going, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Ridgwell Cemetery, Guildhall.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in her memory to The Morrison, 6 Terrace Street, Whitefield, NH 03598.
