LANCASTER, NH – Christopher M. Corliss, 47, of North Road, passed away suddenly at his home on March 12, 2023.
Chris was born in Lancaster on February 5, 1976, and graduated from White Mountain Regional High School in 1995. He was a longtime employee of the Forbes Farm in Lancaster.
As a child, Chris enjoyed roller skating at his grandparents’ place, Dubreuil’s Dance Hall and Roller Skating Rink, and playing with his brothers and neighborhood friends in the woods of East Lancaster.
Chris enjoyed spending time with his children and especially loved to watch them do what they loved, Shantel it was her love of horses and her attraction to his Tasmanian devil tattoo that she likes to pretend to box with. Christopher it was his love and dedication to sports and the pride he felt when he would open the newspaper and see what he had accomplished. Dellanie it was the way she loved with her whole heart. When Dellanie was a little girl, his arms always felt empty until he picked her up. They looked at each other with so much love, this feeling was irreplaceable to Chris. He and his kids enjoyed fishing excursions, movies at his Uncle Raymond Dubreuil’s Drive-In, and trips to his favorite place, Old Orchard Beach. He also enjoyed driving the Kancamagus Highway.
Surviving family members include his children, Shantel Corliss, Christopher Corliss, Jr., and Dellanie Corliss; his mother, Ramona Dubreuil Chessman of Lancaster; his brothers, David Chessman and wife Kellie of Jefferson, Adam Chessman and wife Sarah of Bow, NH, David Corliss; a couple nieces, a nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Chris was predeceased by his father Donald Corliss; his maternal grandparents Raymond and Beverly Dubreuil; and his paternal grandparents Frank and Ester Corliss.
A celebration of life will be held April 15th, at 11 AM, at St. Paul’s parish hall, 113 Main Street, Lancaster, NH.
