WHITEFIELD - Cindy Belmonte, 49, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Whitefield, NH on October 12th, 2018.
Cindy was born August 25th, 1969, in Winchester Massachusetts and grew up in Wilmington Massachusetts. She lived in the Dracut area until moving to Whitefield NH in 2004.
Cindy graduated from Shawsheen Vocational in 1987. On April 9, 1994, she married Jerry Belmonte, and stood with him as a partner and friend through 24 years of life's adventures. If she'd had more years to give, she would have.
Over the years Cindy worked as a hairdresser and a bus driver, but she found the greatest fulfillment as a wife, and mother to her three children, Ashley, Kyle, and Taylor. She was truly a mother bear. Her heart overflowed with love for her children, and their friends. She was fearless in defending them.
Cindy enjoyed cooking, and she had a knack for decorating. She insisted that her home be decorated for each season. Her love of family was shown in the little things she did to make their house into a home.
Cindy was a hugger, you couldn't simply say hello. Her beautiful smile was matched only by the compassion in her heart. Cindy enjoyed spending time on her porch, laughing with friends, and living life. She will be truly missed by those fortunate enough to have known her.
She was also a very strong woman, having fought breast cancer and life threatening pneumonia - defeating both.
Cindy leaves behind her loving husband Jerry Belmonte, and their three children Ashley Belmonte, Kyle Belmonte, and Taylor Belmonte; all reside in Whitefield NH. She is also survived by her mother, Bernice Borgeson, her two brothers Carl and Barry Borgeson, and her sister Shirley MacKinnon. She was predeceased by her father Carl Borgeson in 2006. Cindy had a special place in her heart for her dogs Lilly and Zara - who survive her, and Spencer, who is by her side now.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday evening, October 18, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
