LANCASTER - Corinne M. Savage, 76, of Lost Nation, died Monday morning, April 24, 2017 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.
Mrs. Savage was born in Stratford, NH, on July 31, 1940, the daughter of Kenneth and Myrtle (Griffin) McMann.
Corinne will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family who include her husband of 52 years, James E. Savage Sr. of Lancaster; her son James E. Savage Jr. of Lancaster; her daughter April Hatch and husband John of North Haverhill; a grandson Winston Hatch; her sister Laverna Cass of Columbia; a brother Glenn C. McMann of Nolanville, Texas; a sister-in-law Mary Clay of Lancaster; and 7 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; a sister Carole McMann and a brother in-law Harriman (Buster) Clay.
She loved going to area fairs and every year attended the Lancaster Fair, the North Haverhill Fair and the Fryeburg Fair. She also enjoyed her exercise group at Colonel Town Recreation. She loved spending time with her grandson Winston. When her children were in school she loved going to all the sporting events, she didn't miss one.
Visiting hours will be held Friday evening, April 28th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster. A funeral service will be held at St. Timothy's Church in Lost Nation at 11:00AM on Saturday April 29th. Reverend Timothy Brooks, pastor, will officiate.
