David B. Bedell

JEFFERSON - David B. Bedell, 80, of Israel River Road, died suddenly at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL.
Mr. Bedell was born in Jefferson on November 26, 1932, the son of Edward and Doris (Silver) Bedell.
He was a graduate of Lancaster Academy and for many years has been seasonally employed in New Hampshire and Florida. During the summer he was a groundskeeper at the Waumbek Country Club, Jefferson, and in the winter was superintendent of services at the Hillsboro Club in Pompano Beach.
David loved to golf and was an avid New England sports fan. Memberships included the Elks, Moose, American Legion and Veteran's of Foreign Wars.
His is survived by his wife Frances J. (Doane) Bedell of Jefferson and West Palm Beach; a son Richard Bedell and wife Terri of Lancaster; two granddaughters Kaiden and Emerson; a sister Caroline Sheridan of Baltimore, Maryland; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Hillside Cemetery, Jefferson. An announcement will be published at a later date.
