LANCASTER - David E. Webster, 82, died suddenly at his home on Prospect Street, Friday, March 8, 2019, after a period of failing health.
David was born in Lancaster on August 24, 1936, the son of Earl and Merle (Eastman) Webster. He was raised and resided in Lancaster most of his life and was a 1955 graduate of Lancaster High School. For over 25 years he served with the National Guard and was a longtime employee with the State of New Hampshire Road Survey. After retirement and at the age of 69, he went back to work for many years serving as a town crossing guard in Lancaster.
He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving family members include his children Kevin (Robin), Kathy and Michael; grandchildren Shawna, Kim, Kevin Jr., Cody, Kristina, Mikey, and Degan; great-grandchildren Shea, Talon, Robert, Blake, Kat, Deseri and AJ.
He was predeceased by his wife Linda (Evans) Webster. They were married August 22, 1969.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 20th, at 11:00 AM, at the Christ United Methodist Church, Lancaster. He will be buried with Linda in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Leesburg, Florida.
