MAIDSTONE, VT- Dawn M. Lovell, 40, passed away unexpectedly, on March 13, 2011.

Mrs. Lovell was born in Saint Albans, VT on June 26, 1970 a daughter of John R. Lingenfelter and Marie (Papineau) McKinnon.

She served in the United States Coast Guard and was a graduate of Johnson State College earning a bachelors degree in English and Psychology. For a time taught at the North Country Charter School and Easter Seals. Most recently she has worked for Donovan Engineering and Construction as an assistant project manager.

Dawn was family orientated and especially loved spending time with her husband Scott; together they worked hard building their home from scratch. She was always there to lend a helping hand and there was nothing she couldn't do. Her hobbies, included fishing, yard sales, riding motorcycles, and reading and was known to have a green thumb. She also truly enjoyed taking care of the holiday festivities.

She was a member of the John W. Weeks VFW Post #3041 Ladies Auxiliary.

Family members include her husband Scott Lovell of Maidstone, a son Robert Worrell of Champlain, NY, her mother Marie McKinnon of Champlain, NY, two sisters Karla Juneau and Michelle Katon also of Champlain, NY, a grandson Ian Kennett; special young man, Cory Gilman who she thought of as a son; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Her father predeceased her.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday evening March 16, from 6-8 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
