Debbie "Dirty Bear" Hanks

WHITEFIELD- Debbie Hanks, 50, of Pine Street, died unexpectedly on, Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Littleton Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Hanks was born in Berlin on August 1, 1958 the daughter of Robert and Elsie (Gardner) Laflamme Sr.
Debbie was raised in Berlin and was a graduate of Berlin High School. She lived in Colebrook for several years and for a time she worked at the Balsams. For the past twenty years she has been a resident of Whitefield and was employed at Hitchner Manufacturing in Littleton. She enjoyed playing broomball, darts, riding her motorcycle and collecting bears.
She had a big heart and truly cared about others and will be sadly missed.
Family members include her husband of 16 years, Freeman Hanks of Whitefield, three brothers, Robert Laflamme Jr. of Berlin, Brian Laflamme of Concord, NH and Shawn Laflamme of Concord, VT and a sister Alice of Concord, VT.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 27, from 6-8 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster.
