Deborah (Day) Arsenault

September 4, 1942 — March 5, 2022

My Sister and everyone's friend!
Deborah (Day) Arsenault of Whitefield, NH passed away at the Morrison Nursing Home on March 6 at the age of 79. She was born and spent most of her life in Lancaster, NH. Deb and I, (Jean {Day} Baker) her sister, had many wonderful years together. Debbie had such a creative talent, and she used it in many ways while enjoying every moment. She could be seen redoing flower beds throughout town. She would be caught moving Lilac Trees to locations in town where she felt they were a better fit. She had such a talent and sense of style. Her heart was always in Lancaster and Weeks State Park where she was a volunteer landscaper for many years. Deb and I graduated from Lancaster High School and so we left...that's just what you did. She moved to Boston (our uncle Burns Langworthy lived there) where she worked at a few different jobs with her first one being in the glove department at Jordon Marsh. WOW! While living in Boston's Back Bay, she was involved with organizing groups of kids for many activities due to the dismantling of their neighborhood for the new Christian Science Church area. She was a Christian Science Member and always gave back to the neighborhood she lived in as a volunteer. After several years in Boston, she relocated to Florida for a while before driving to California where she lived in her beautiful San Francisco. Eventually she returned to Boston, Lancaster, Bethlehem and finally Whitefield. Deb was married to Bob Arsenault for 31 years who predeceased her. She leaves behind her sister and four stepchildren and their families. Deb and Bob were friends of Greyhound Dogs and fostered many of them and numerous cats in their home. At Deb's wish their will be no services and her ashes will be buried at her family's grave site in Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Country Home Health and Hospice, www.nchhha.org .
