LANCASTER - Debra E. Nutting, 61, of Heath Street, died at her home December 6, 2021, after a recent illness.
Debra was born in Lancaster on September 2, 1960, the daughter of Basil and Everdean (Bean) Heath. She was a lifetime resident of Lancaster and graduate of White Mountain Regional High School.
For a time, Debbie was a bartender at the VFW in Lancaster, but most of her life has been dedicated to healthcare. She worked as an LNA at Country Village Genesis Eldercare for 15 years, The Morrison nursing home for 18 years, and for a time she also worked private duty. Debbie loved her job; her patients and fellow workers were her extended family. They were all special to her, and likewise she was special to them, Debbie would always go that extra mile.
Debbie was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #3041 Lancaster. She once took a memorable trip to Alaska with her late husband Wayland and some close friends and was particularly excited about reaching the Arctic Circle. Her family and friends will remember her as a fun-loving prankster.
Surviving family members include her daughter Stephanie Nutting of Lancaster; grandchildren Hayley and Kason Wayland; siblings Bonnie Brousseau and husband Roger of Canaan, VT and Florida, Louise Lufkin and husband Dave of Maidstone, VT, Jeff Heath and wife Diane of Jefferson; and her two best friends, Robin Fearon and Dina Gunnip.
