Delmar Noland, 96, passed away on April 28, 2025 in the loving care of his son and daughter-in-law. Delmar was born on October 12, 1928 to Cassius "Clay" and Alta (Spradling) Noland, in Middletown, Ohio. When Delmar was young, his family relocated to Kokomo, IN where he was raised along with 7 sisters and a brother. Delmar attended Kokomo High School, where he met the love of his life, Elizabeth Johnson. They married when Delmar was 17, and together raised two children, Cindy (Sera) and James Noland. They were devoted parents who were very involved in their children's activities. Delmar was an Eastside Little League Coach for the Kokomo Water Works. He worked odd jobs until his early twenties, when he began a career at Delco Radio as a Tool and Die Maker. Delmar was an active sportsman and enjoyed hunting, golfing and fishing. He was known by many as the "World's Greatest Fisherman". Upon his retirement, he and his wife relocated to Florida, where he continued to enjoy golfing and fishing well into his eighties. Predeceasing Delmar is his wife, Elizabeth and daughter, Cindy. He is survived by his son James Noland and wife Kelley of Lunenburg, VT; a grandson, Chadd Fisher of Kokomo, IN; and a great-grandson, Jonah Fisher of Florida. Delmar will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens in Kokomo, IN at the convenience of the family.
