Dennis L. "Ben" Fontaine

JEFFERSON-Dennis "Ben" Fontaine passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 63. Ben resided in Jefferson, NH and worked at Santa's Village for 20 years. Previously, Ben was employed at the Groveton Paper Mill.

For anyone who knew Ben, knew his work took time, as any good work does. You could always find Ben at camp with a Busch beer and good music. Ben's fondest memories were spent at camp, cutting wood, working with the Teryx, and being with his family. No matter where Ben may have been, Ben always wanted some sort of music; all music, classic rock and old country. Ben loved to sing these songs with his brothers, Dick and Trapper.

Ben was predeceased by his father, Leonard Fontaine; his brother, Richard "Dick" Fontaine; and his love, Maureen Samson. Ben is survived by his beloved cat, Spaz; as well as, many family members. Ben is survived by his mother, Eunice Fontaine; his daughter Christina Fontaine and Brian Lunderville; his son Ben Fontaine, and his wife Renee Fontaine; and his son Brian Samson, and his wife Jessica Samson. His grandchildren, Benjamin Rich and his fiancé Becca Rogers; Braeden & Colby Fontaine; and his grand-dogs, Lily and Luna; as well as, his great-grand-dogs, Scooby and Harley. Ben is also survived by his siblings, Joanne Emerson, and her husband, Les; Beatrice Fontaine and family; Mary Baird, and her husband, Stephen; Roseanne Currier, and her husband, John; Nannette Stone, and her husband, Charlie; Bonnie Bryant, and her husband, Delburt; and Roger "Trapper" Fontaine, and his wife, Brenda.

Memorial visiting hours for Dennis L. "Ben" Fontaine, who passed away on February 5, 2018, will be held Friday, February 9th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster.
