DIANE K. BRIGHAM
JEFFERSON- Diane K. Brigham, on Saturday April 28, 2007, in the company of her family was finally able to stop fighting her battle with Leukemia.
Diane was born in Plymouth, NH on October 25, 1973, the daughter of Dawn Day.
She was a 1992 graduate of New Hampton Prep.School. She graduated from Keene State College in 1996 receiving her Bachelors Degree in English, after graduation she began teaching in Franklin. In the fall of 1997 she met her husband Jason, 1999 saw Diane and Jason criss-crossing the continent before settling for a year in Butte, MT. She and Jason returned to New Hampshire making Whitefield and Jefferson home.
In the summer of 2004 Diane gave birth to a baby boy Dillon Jakob, and within him found the reasons to keep fighting.
Diane enjoyed her dogs, Lewis, Samson, and Josephine. She also enjoyed attending athletic events, camping and traveling.
A loving mother and devoted wife, she was admired by so many for her unbelievable courage and determination.
Diane's spirit is carried on by, her mother, husband, and son. Additional family members include her grandmother Jacqueline Spear, her sisters Jessi and Jacqueline Day, a niece Skylar, her mother and father in-law, Jane and Jerry Brigham, a sister in-law Jessica, two brother in-laws, Jon and Joey, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of her life will held Thursday, May 3, at 4:00 PM, at the Day Spring Cathedral, Lancaster. A reception will follow.
