Donald L. Cross

Donald L. Cross passed away on October 22nd, 2024. He was preceded in passing by his husband Robert F. Hollinshead, originally from South Braintree, Massachusetts as well as his father & mother, John & Emily Cross from Colebrook, New Hampshire; brother John Jerald Cross (Joe) of Colebrook; & Alfred Cross of Colebrook.

Don was born in Colebrook, New Hampshire and graduated from Colebrook Academy, class of 1959. He met Bob in 1962 and were together 52 years until Bob's passing in 2014. They were married in Newburyport, Massachusetts on September 16, 2005.

Don spent 33 years working with those with special needs, and with 16 1/2 years in Massachusetts as well as several years in Stillwater, Oklahoma and Ocala, Florida. He also had his own business for 15 years in South Braintree as a licensed and registered electrologist. Upon Bob's retirement from Braintree Water Company, they spent several years in Perkins, Oklahoma, and Ocala, Florida.

Don leaves his brother & sister Gary and Dottie Cross of Whitefield, New Hampshire and Jo'anne Cross of North Haverhill, New Hampshire. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great & great-great nieces and nephews and in-laws in Oklahoma.

There will be no services. Don will join his husband in Perkins, Oklahoma. Friends & Family may donate to their favorite charity. Arrangements are entrusted to Bailey Funeral Home.
