Donald Kenneth Wood

DALTON- Donald Kenneth Wood, 70, of French Road, died suddenly Tuesday evening February 26, 2008, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mr. Wood was born in Gilman, Vermont on June 15, 1937, the son of Kenneth and Hazel (Whitehead) Wood.
Donald worked for Gilman Paper, Maine Central Railroad, and retired from Crotched Mountain Rehab. Center in 2002.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and early morning drives through Victory and Granby, VT.
Family members include his mother Hazel of Lancaster, his wife Barbara Weeks of Dalton, five children, Randy Wood of Henniker, Gail Hicks of Littleton, Jeannine Sheehan of Kinston, NC, Jennifer Gleason of Hillsborough, and timothy Wood of Kinston, N.C; three step children Jeffrey Weeks of Augusta, ME, Cheryl Letendre of Livermore, ME and Todd Weeks of Peterborough; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; two sisters Susan Hartshorn of Lunenburg, VT and Beverly Rosen of Pocono Pine, PA, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 24, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Overlook Cemetery, East Concord, VT.
