MAIDSTONE - Donna J. Allaire, 72, of Maidstone Lake Road, died Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Allaire was born in Whitefield on October 17, 1947, the daughter of Chester and Alice (Rexford) Barnett. She was raised in Whitefield and was a graduate of Whitefield High School.
She held various jobs throughout her life. For a time she was employed with Bell Telephone. Later she acquired her real estate license and was an agent with Presidential Properties. For the past 15 years she has been an LNA with North Country Home Health & Hospice. In her youth she was a horse show participant.
For over 30 years she has been married to Ronald H. Allaire. In 1999 they purchased a camp on Maidstone Lake. In 2003 they built a home on the property and made it their permanent residence. She and Ron loved to travel and have visited many interesting places around the country.
Suviving family members include husband Ronald of Maidstone; a step-son Dean R. Allaire of Hampton, NH; two step-daughters, Lori Garrett of Sanborton, NH, Stephanie Allaire of Cape Cod; two brothers, Richard Barnett and wife Judy of Langdon, NH, Steven Barnett and wife Billie of Whitefield, NH; and a sister, Elaine Wiseman and husband Jeff of Whitefield, NH. She also leaves her beloved labrador Luke.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
