Donna Lorraine Elizabeth Frank, 56 of Colebrook passed away on Monday, June 8th at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster. Donna was born on November 28th, 1969, to Mark & Deborah Frank in Milford, Connecticut. Donna grew up as a military brat and loved it. The family traveled and lived across various bases in Germany, Alabama and even New Jersey. She made lifelong friends when graduating from Colebrook Academy. Throughout the years, she stayed connected to her fellow Army brats and friends from Colebrook & New Jersey. Donna & her sister would go on to be cheerleaders for the Dartmouth Giants, a German/American style semi-pro football team.
Donna was known for her kindness, gentleness, laughter, adventurous spirit and unending reserve of love. She loved being a mom and adored her children. She was loved enormously by her parents. Donna adored art, literature, gardening, and writing. Her favorite poet is Emily Dickinson. Donna kept flower beds that grew bleeding hearts, tiger lilies and more. She will be remembered most for the love of her children, building fairy houses with her daughters, stargazing and was always prepared to greet them after school with brownies & cookies.
Survivors include seven children: Kyra Nirvanna, Lorraine Sara-Skye, Anthony, Erin Lynn, Timothy Richard, Robert Max & Elizabeth Diamond-Ann. Donna also leaves behind her parents, Mark & Deborah of Lancaster; Siblings Theresa, Michael & Mark as well as countless loved ones, friends & neighbors.
Calling Hours will be held from 6pm-8pm on Friday, June 12 at Bailey Funeral Home, 210 Main Street in Lancaster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday June 13th at 1:00pm at All Saints Catholic Church in Lancaster with Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Prouty Foundation of Dartmouth Hitchcock Cancer Center.
