Dorothy A. 'Dot' Barnett

GROVETON - Dorothy A. "Dot" Barnett, 92, of Dean Brook Road, died at her home Wednesday evening, January 30, 2013.
Mrs. Barnett was born in Island Pond, VT on December 14, 1920, the daughter of George and Mary (Devlin) Reynolds.
She was raised in Island Pond where she graduated from St. Mary's Academy. She has been a longtime resident of Groveton and was employed 25 years with Campbell Stationary in North Stratford.
Spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest enjoyment. She lived for them and her little dog Benji.
Family members include two sons, George Nugent of Massachusetts, Brent Nugent of Groveton; 5 grandchildren, Benjamin, Amanda, Christie, Michael, Matthew; 5 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Wilbur J. "Web" Barnett in 2011; a brother Leo Reynolds and a sister Alice Palmer.
At Dorothy's request the will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning February 2, at 11:00 AM at All Saints Church, Lancaster. Reverend Matthew Mason, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to a charity of ones choice.
