WHITEFIELD, NH- Dorothy Saulnier, 90, died Monday January 25, 2010, at her daughters home in Londonderry, with her loving family by her side.
Mrs. Saulnier was born in Boston, MA on August 1, 1919, the daughter of Benjamin and Hazel (Hart) Hapgood.
Dorothy was a resident of Whitefield since 1941. She was a graduate of Saint Louis Hospital School of Nursing and became a registered nurse.
She was a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America and had once served as treasurer and trustee. She also taught religious education classes.
She was a communicant of St. Matthews Catholic Church.
Family members include her daughter Joan Phillips, a granddaughter Kimberley** Durst, a great granddaughter and a great grandson all of Londonderry. Her husband Raymond Saulnier predeceased her on Sept. 2, 1994.
At Dorothy's request there are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday afternoon January 30, at 12:00 PM at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Whitefield. Reverend Raymond Ball, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be held in the spring in St. Matthews Cemetery in Whitefield.
In lieu of flowers donations, maybe made in her memory to a Human Society of ones choice.
