Edgar Laforest Robbins

SALEM, NH - Edgar LaForest Robbins Jr.,81,of Salem Haven, died Saturday morning November 29, 2014 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Mr. Robbins was born in Concord, MA on April 22, 1933 the son of Edgar LaForest Robbins and Ceva Branch Kennie Robbins.
He worked most of his life as an auto service technician and ran his own repair shop called Ed's Place in Maidstone, VT.
Ed enjoyed flying, building model airplanes, skiing, snowmobiling, and attending auto races. He had a love of music and in his youth enjoyed playing the guitar.
Edgar was a Free and Accepted Mason and served with the US Army.
Family members include his son Bert Loring Robbins and his wife Toni of Derry, NH; two daughters, Debra Lynn Bailey and her husband Eric of Pepperell, MA. Cheryl Lee Boswell and her husband Kevin of Rumney, NH; 6 grandchildren, Nathan Bowker, Justin Bowker, Eric Bailey, Laura Bailey, Taylor Robbins and Tucker Robbins; two sisters, Rebecca Loring Pennucci of Manchester, NH and Martha Fredinburgh of Belchertown, MA
A memorial service will be held at Salem Haven. Time and day will be announced at a later date.
Burial will be in the spring in the Taylor Cemetery, Maidstone, VT at the convenience of the family.
