GROVETON - Edna A. Crandall, 76, formerly of Melcher Court, died Saturday morning February 25, 2017, at Country Village Genesis Eldercare Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Crandall was born in Groveton on April 17, 1940 the daughter of Leonard H. and Lila M. (Alger) Potter. She was a longtime resident of Groveton and enjoyed her time at Melcher Court, especially working on puzzles.
Surviving family members include her son William Pidgeon of Lowell, MA; grandchildren Kamryn & Deanna Pidgeon of Lowell, MA; two sisters Charlene A. Potter and Lois C. Potter, both of Groveton; several nieces and nephews including a special niece Tammy Sanborn of Lancaster. She was predeceased by a daughter Joyce "Judy" Potter and three sisters Jacqueline Halverson, Evelyn Scott, and Warnetta Potter.
A graveside service will be held in the spring in Northumberland Cemetery. An announcement will be posted at that time.
